NPC to play MBC on Saturday

Kathmandu, May 6

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) had completed its preparation for a friendly match between Nepal Police Club (NPC) and Mohun Bagan Club (MBC) to be played at Dasrath Stadium on 12 May.

ANFA general secretary, Direndra Pradhan said that preparations for the upcoming friendly have been completed, at a press conference in the Capital, Sunday.

The Indian team that is based Kolkata is set to arrive in Kathmandu on Saturday. According to ANFA consists of star players like Sunil Chhetri, Jose Barreto and Odafa Okolie. Pradhan further added that ANFA is willing to provide the Nepali side with players from the national side. National team players Sandip Rai, Santosh Sahukhala, Kiran Chemjong, Bharat Khawas and Biraj Maharjan are expected to join the Nepal Police Club for the friendly.

United Spirits have
taken a responsibility of players’ accommodation while ANFA will manage the security of the match.
