Kathmandu, May 12
Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai Saturday administered the oath of office and secrecy to Minister for Health and Population Rajendra Mahato at Shital Niwas in the presence of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav.
Dr. Bhattarai appointed Mahato to the post during a cabinet reshuffle on last Saturday.
Mahato was out of Kathmandu and remained absent during the oath taking ceremony on that day.
Vice-President Paramananda Jha, ministers, party leaders and senior government and security officials were present during the ceremony.
