Kathmandu, June. 10:

Nine central members of the Madeshi Janaadhikar Forum (Loktantrik) have jointly tendered their resignations from their posts on Sunday.

Those who submitted their resignations to party chairman Bijay Kumar Gachchhadhar include Pramod Gupta, Koushalkishor Yadav, Nilam Barma, Ramanand Mandal, Sewaki Dastatma, Aamirullaha Ansari, Shivaji Prasad Soni, Jayaprakash Yadav Rahul and Paras.

These party members have supported party leader Sarad Singh Bhandari who faced action from party and is going to launch a new party.

At a press conference, the resigning members of the party accused the party leadership of running the party undemocratically and through unilateral decisions.

In their resignation letter they said that the party was acting against the party principles adopted at the time of the formation of the party.

They said that action against Bhandari was unjustifiable.

They criticized Gachchhadar for failing to work for the inclusive bill, form Madhesi Commission and recruit 10,000 Madhesi youth in the Nepal Army.
