Pulsar Sports Award gets Dish Media support

Dish Media Privated Limited has continued their co-sponsorship deal for the third year to the NSJF Pulsar Sports Award 2068 that is scheduled for July 4 in Kathmandu.

Orginising the function here on Thursday President of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum Niranjan Rajbanshi and Chief Executive Officer of Dish Media Rabindra Man Shrestha inked a deal.

According to the deal, Dish Media will provide Forum a cash of Rs. 2,00,000 and provide the smart box worth Rs. 6000 to the winners of eight categories and popular player of the year.

Addressing the function, Shrestha said that the Sports Awards had reached to new heights when it comes to host the 10th edition. "I hope this edition will be different from the previous one and wish for success."

The award, which was being held annually on the September 10, has been preponed two months earlier to mark the International Sports Journalist Day. The event will be held at the Academy Hall in Kathmandu.

Forum had already announced the nominees for the popular player of the year and will announce the nominees for the other four categories soon, said the organizer. "The Special award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Para Athlete award will be announced on the event day."

The best players of the year will ride home Pulsar Motorbike and winner of the other categories will bag Rs. 30,000 and gift hampers.
