Nepal will be playing to win or for a draw at the U-22 AFC tournament that is scheduled for kick off from Today at the Dasarath Stadium.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) had announced at a press conference organized in the capital, Friday, that
the Nepali team would be playing to win.
Also at the meet, Nepal’s coach Krishna Thapa informed that since team Nepal has already won previous matches against Bangladesh they were confident about winning today’s match against the Bangladeshi team.
"All our players, including the nine national level players that will be joining us for the tournament are in good shape and since we have also been practicing diligently for the past one and a half months so we are confident about winning Saturday’s match," added Thapa.
The Bangladeshi coach Syed Ghulam Jillian however stated that he was confident that his team would beat Nepal in their home grounds.
Apart from Bangladesh Nepal will take on Jordan, Uzbekistan and Yemen for a place in the semi-final berth of the tournament that is scheduled to take place in 2013.
