Pop sensation Lady Gaga, who is known for her bizarre sartorial style, sported a dress made of purple hair.

The 25-year-old singer, who began her Born This Way Ball world tour in Hong Kong, teamed up the outfit with white platform boots, white gloves and a white hat, reported Sun online.

The pop star`s most controversial dress was made of raw beef, which she wore for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

Gaga`s tour began the previous night in South Korea and only those who are 18 or older can attend the events.

The `Bad Romance` singer will perform 110 shows worldwide. She will perform in Hong Kong on May 2 and in Tokyo and Singapore on May 10 and May 28 respectively.
