Beyonce is back. The pop star gave her first post-baby concert last night at the new Atlantic City venue Revel.
Before hopping on stage Beyonce told the NY Post:
"It is exciting. Iím a little nervous, thoughÖ Itís like going back to my old job. Itís a little strange. But itís important that you donít lose yourself and you still have your own passions. Iím back to work. Iím back to business."
Beyonce will get rid of all those nervous feelings this weekend as sheís scheduled to play three more shows at the Revel. According to her husband Jay-Z, Beyonceís performance last night was one of the best of her career.
Jay Z said:
"Iím gonna say this and then Iím gonna end mine. BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.
Entertainment blogger Miss Jia agreed:
"I swear Iíve just witnessed the best concert ever."
Beyonce worked her way through an impressive list of songs. She sang newer material like "Halo" and old classics like Destinyís Childís "Jumpiní Jumpiní" Beyonce also sang a rendition of "I Will Always Love You," and Lauryn Hillís "Ex-Factor."
