Kathmandu, June 1

Nepal national U-22 stunned National team by 5-1 in the friendly match Friday in the Dashrath Stadium here. Bharat Khawas scored his hat trick.

Khawas opened the account in the third minute of the game. He shot from 25 yard distance to kiss the net whereas he doubled the tally in the 32nd minute in a penalty.

Khawas completed his hat trick through a heading 8 minutes after his second goal. Khawas netted his fourth in the 48th minute.

Sujal Shrestha took advantage of the poor defense of the national team in the 51st minute and made the score 5-0.

Santosh Saukhala of national team scored the consolation goal in the 72nd minute through a header.

Nepal U-22 team is preparing for AFC U-22 group D Qualifiers.
