Kathmandu, June 3
Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) geared up to host the Bajaj Pulsar Sports Award 2068 on July 3 in Academy Hall, Kathmandu.
Announcing the date on Sunday at a press meet, NSJF said that they had preponed the Award ceremony two months earlier. Earlier the ceremony was organized on September every year.
In order to mark the International Sports Journalist Day, NSJF has decided to organize the ceremony earlier, said Niranjan Rajbansi, President of the Forum.
Players from different disciplines were being awarded in eight different categories for their feat annually. The categories are Best Male player and Best Female player of the year whereas Best Youth player of the year, Best Coach of the year, Best Para Athletic, Life time achievement, Special Award and Popular player.
In coordination of Secretary of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF), Mahesh Acharya eight member team will select the nominee players for all eight categories.
Hansa Raj Hulas Chand Company Pvt. Ltd will be continuing the title sponsorship for Sports Award 2068.
Best Male and Female players will be riding Pulsar bike whereas all nominees of the each categories will bag a cash of Rs. 30,000 and trophy.
Around Rs. 12,50,000 will be invested for the prize money and Rs. 6,00,000 will be given to host NSJF by the title sponsor.
