Gorkhapatra lose 3-2 to Nepal Bank in Football Friendly

Kathmandu, June 30

Gorkhapatra Corporation lost 2-3 to Nepal Bank Limited in the friendly match played on Saturday at SOS play ground Sano Thimi, Bhakatapur.

Banker Surendra K.C treble helped Nepal Bank to overcome the neighbor institution and oldest publication of the Nepal. KC scored a winning goal in the pen ultimate minutes as he sealed the match off the free kick hit from 25 yard distance.

The oldest commercial Bank of Nepal took the lead with 2-0 score in the first half. The Gorkhapatra came back in the other half restoring the parity from the goal off Bidur Deula and
Ankit Bhusal.

Chair person of the Gorkhapatra Corporation and Chief Editor of the Gorkhapatra Daily Sita Ram Agrahari, handed football to the referee in the opening ceremony of the friendly match against Nepal Bank Limited.
