Tom Cruise thinks that Katie Holmes is using Suri as a weapon, and has made it difficult for him to communicate with his daughter.

Although the 50-year-old actor now has "absolutely no contact with Katie," his people are negotiating with Holmes’ people over when and how Cruise can talk to Suri.

According to sources, the ‘Mission Impossible’ star does speak with his daughter by phone at least once a day, but it hasn’t been easy for the actor, TMZ.com reported.

In fact, the divorce is growing so bitter that Holmes’ concerned parents are being updated about her whereabouts hourly. And there is an "electronic security" log being kept to track her safety.

"Katie’s father and mother are in constant communication with their daughter. They are being told what she is doing and where she is with Suri. One of Katie’s bodyguards is also calling her father throughout the day and night to inform him of Katie and Suri’s physical location and there is an electronic security log that Katie’s parents receive that is updated hourly," a source told Radar Online.

"Katie is taking these extraordinary measures for obvious reasons. She knows now that in the eyes of Scientology she is the enemy. Her father advised her to spare no expense in hiring the best security team possible.

"Katie has no plans of living like a recluse, she is going out in public with Suri, just as she normally would, just with a few more bodyguards now," the source added.

Holmes was previously guarded by Scientologists who she dumped as her security since she couldn’t trust them anymore.

According to sources, Cruise will not be able to see his daughter for a while. The actor had been in LA for the 4th of July but will be leaving before the weekend to shoot his new movie in the Rockies.
