Kathmandu , July 9
Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala has said the Unified CPN (Maoist) will be made compelled through political and road struggle.
Inaugurating the second convention of Mahottari-Kathmandu Liaison Committee in the Capital on Saturday, President Koirala reiterated that the NC is always in favour of consensus, reconciliation and unity.
The Maoist’s image has been dwindling in and outside the country due to its failure to abide by the accords and understandings made in the past, he said, stressing the need of implementing these agreements to give outlet to political problems of the country.
On the occasion, NC central members, Dil bahadur Gharti, Ram Chandra Tiwari, among others underscored the urgency to intensify dialogue and discussions among the key political parties to cut through the current political deadlock.
