Acting President of Nepali Congress (NC), Sushil Koirala accused Maoist of putting forth the slogan of People’s Republic so as to impose monopoly of communists.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has forgotten the political decency and attempted to escape away from his prime responsibility of framing constitution by giving controversial remarks.
At a press conference organized here today by Nepal Press Union, Parsa blamed Maoist of being failure in implementing the past political agreements, understanding and consensus, and added NC would play active role in making constitution, institutionalizing the achievements yielded by epoch-making Jana Andolan and bringing peace process to a logical conclusion.
But the Maoist should make the environment of political trust, leader Korala added.
NC has not staked its concern to topple the government and if the government collapsed, it would be due to the Maoist, he made it clear, adding, NC wishes to see the establishment of peace and security in the country and peace process to bring to logical end.
He also questioned on the rationality of Army adjustment at a time when the national army was on the hold of government.
